Friends Kid Silk

Our Friends Kid Silk is a magnificent combination of kid mohair, silk, and a tiny bit of wool.

The kid mohair fibers come from the young angora goats, making it the finest quality of mohair there is. Hence, the yarn appears thin, lightweight, uniform, shiny, fluffy, and totally free of impurities.

Thanks to these characteristics, projects created with this yarn will not wrinkle or stretch and will be able to keep you warm during the wintertime while being lightweight.

Friends Kid Silk comes in a great variety of lively and neutral colors. You can work with a single thread for a more airy effect, or you can use multiple threads to achieve a fuller look. Friends Kid Silk is extremely versatile and can, of course, also be paired with another yarn to add softness and fluff to your project. The result will be definitely outstanding and elegant.

NB: We have given Friends Kid Silk a little brush up to a slightly bigger, looser shape. The colors and quality remain the same. Please bear with us while we phase out the old stock as, during the transition, you may receive either shape.

About the Friends family

The colors of the yarns included in the Friends family are literally friends!

This means the color numbers correspond to the same color across the different Friends yarns. If you order the same color number from two different Friends yarns, they will match. Please note that there can be slight differences in the shades from fiber to fiber.
