Brushed Alpaca

Brushed Alpaca is a brushed yarn. The soft mix of alpaca and wool with a hint of polyamide makes for an airy yarn with durability and structure.

With 52% alpaca, 23% wool, and 25% polyamide, you get a yarn that feels great on your skin and has the durability you want in modern knits and crocheted pieces. The lightly brushed surface gives volume and movement to your work without it feeling heavy or compact.

The colors were developed with the city of Copenhagen in mind. The colors range from subtle brown and beige shades to classic grays and warm natural tones, all the way to brighter, fresher colors and pastels. You’ll have plenty of chances to play around with contrasts in your crafts.

Brushed Alpaca is great for airy sweaters, voluminous cardigans, and classic accessories like beanies and scarves, where the texture gets to shine. Use it alone for a light and airy look or combine it with another yarn to add extra warmth, density, or color intensity. The large color palette allows for tone-on-tone work as well as color combinations with more vivid contrasts.

To preserve the character and softness of the yarn, we recommend washing it by hand. This will help the garments last longer and keep the structure of the brushed look.
